A New Perspective

by Ben Easton

Plunging men into darkness, we sweep their canvases clean,
silencing their stories, but inviting their soul-searching truths.
Listening to voices hushed for too long, we create a sacred space,
surrounding men with eyes as mirrors, reflecting hopes and fears.

Stripping away trappings, we remove their obsolete masks,
revealing raw and alien identities: brothers of a kindred spirit.
Guiding men to go deep within, we show them the ancient way,
accessing wildness and mystery, and unearthing boundless courage.

Witnessing heroes on their journeys, we sentimentally recall our own,
claiming power and tasting the truth … of strength and joy and gold.
Modeling action and intention, we walk the talk of the new warrior,
forging missions that heal and transform, and standing as men united.

Brushing bold visions in glorious strokes, we paint our lives anew,
breathing life into expanded hearts, beholding broad horizons.
Affirming our goals in wondrous abundance, we glow with newfound vitality,
co-creating a transformed world, beautiful and inviting for our children.

I quit my software training gig 18 months ago to follow my passion as an author, activist, and philosopher. In my first 6 months, I coauthored an iPhone/iPad App Programming book. Now, I’m working on a memoir and a philosophical treatise on property rights.

– is a deeply personal issue that everyone decides for himself. Sometimes the price is high, sometimes low. But this is not very important for life. Life is an interesting thing. And the price on Viagra – too.
